POOR LAW MINORITY REPORT.
.-. (Received February 25, 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, February 24. The minority report of the four Labour members of the Poor Law Commission is attracting attention m the Radical press. It includes Government subventions to trade unions towards grants for the unemployed and Government schemes of work, extending over 10 years and operating m times of depression. Lord Balfour of Burleigh estimates that the adoption of these recommendations would involve 100 millions sterling a- year, against the prosent 20 millions.
