MEETING OF CREDITORS.
A meeting of creditors m the bank-. rupt estate of Robert Goorgo Bright, j second-hand dealer, Asliburton, was i held at the Courthouse this morning. the Deputy-Official Assignee (Mi- John Dnvison) presiding;. Only two creditors wore represented.. The statement of the bankmpi shows the amount due to unsecured creditors as £117 10s 3d, secured creditors £214, less estimated value of securities £195; total indebtedness £136 10s 3d. Tlie stock-in-trade is estimated to nroduce £80, book debts £50, cash m hand 18s, furniture £13; total £143 18s. leaving a surplus of £7 7s 9d. The chief unsecured creditors are as follows: W. Strange, and Co. (Christchnrch) £42 0s Bd. A. J. White (Christehuroh) £30 2s, O. Taylor and Co. (Christehnrch) £16 15s"lOd, Aitcheson and Steans (Christchurch) £10 4s" 2d. The secured creditors aro Thomas Kve (Mount ftomers), and Henry Stephen>on (Ashburton. Owing; to the absence of a quorum the meeting was adjourned sine die.
