CADET MARKMANSHIP.

THE "C.A.C." CUPS

The results of the competitions for the Colonial Ammunition Company's " Combined Districts" Cups, and for the district silver medals for 1908, instituted for the encouragement of rifle shooting among the school cadets of the dominion have now been announced. The result as far as Canterbury is concerned is as follows. The- comI petition is open to all public schools (including district high school) cadets. S The cadet inj each of the combined districts making the highest score in the annual class-firing is declared the winner, and his name, corps, and score engraven on the cup, which is to be held by the corps for one year.
