HAWKE'S BAY v. WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, February 21. Tho interprovincial cricket match Wellington v. Hawke's Bay was continued yesterday. The visitors, who on Friday had lost one wicket for 21 in their first venture, were disposed of for 112, Hawke 22, Betts 23 and O'Brien 19 being the only ones to make a stand at all. Then Wellington, whose first innings had yielded only 204, went m and stayed in. The visitor's bowling was tied up, and towards the end of the afternoon it became simply a matter of keeping the game going till six o'clock. WELLINGTON v. HAWKE'S BAY The Hawke's Bay and Wellington^ cricket match was continued to-day. At the luncheon adjournment, Wellington's score for the second innings stood at 346 runs for five wickets. With the innings declared closed Wellington has a lead of 438 runs.
