BANKERS' GREAT WEALTH.

Mr Martin Ridley Smith, of Warren 1 House, Hayes, Kent, whose will has just been proved, is the seventh member of the famous banking firm oi Smith, Payne, and Smiths, who has left a very large fortune,. The testator died recently, at the age of 75, and his; property has been valued for probate at £374,601. The bequests are nearly all of a family nature. A clause m the will provides that the executors and trustees shall be indemnified from all responsibility m administering the will m all instances m which they act r. accordance with the opinion of a practising counsel of more than 10 years' sanding at the Bar. Other fortunes left by this family of bankers have been those of: Mr Samuel Smith, M.P.
