THE EVICTED TENANTS BILL
Per Press Association— Copyright. LONDON, August 10. The House of Lords, by 135 to 34, vitally amended the Evicted Tenants Bill, compelling the Estates Commissioners to show the necessity for compulsory acquisition and base the price on the loss the owner sustains through being deprived of his property, also providing a Court of Appeal. .Another amendment limits those reinstated to two thousand.
