I Per Press Association. f ' CARTERTON, July 30. I Mr E. L. Wakelin, one of the oldest 1 pioneers of the Wairarapa, died this morning, ap;cd 77. He had been a settler in the Wairarapa for fifty years. i NELSON, July 30. The deaths of three old residents are recorded to-day ; namely, those of .Mr Jos^c Hounsoll. aged 75; Mr Goo. Eves, of Sprms Grovp. sigrd 75: and Mr Fred- | crick Taylor, late of Collingwood and tho 58th Regiment, aged 81.
