THE SEVEN-TAILED COMET.
SEEN PROM SYDNEY
(Received July 30, 10.8 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 30. Good views of the Flammarion seventailed comet, reported by cable, have been obtained by local astronomers, though only one tail is observable. This is probably due to the fact that it is viewed from an angle in southern latitudes. The comet is visible to the naked eye in the early mornings as a hazy star of the third magnitude.
