RANGITATA ROAD BOARD.
A meeting of the Rangitata Road Board was held on Wednesday last. Present,—Messrs Dent (chairman), Tarbotton Clement, Fleming and Dellow. the tender of J. Johnston was accepted for shingling from Charles' corner to -Maronan bridge. + i IV." aV*? Gates were ordered to he procured for severa shingle reserves, and-it was resolved that contractors itsinc any of these reserves be required to ropair'any damage done by them to the fences. A petition was received from five ratepayers, asking that a road from the railway to Mr Daly's be formed.—The work was deferred until teams were available.
