AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
DUNEDIN, July 26. At a meeting of the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association to-night, letters were received from the New Zealand Council and the Canterbury Centre in reference to the re-constitution of the Council, It was resolved that the previous decision be adhered to —namely, that the matter be referred to the next annual conference of centres. The Council's offer "to the Otago Centre to hold this, year's New Zealand cross-country championship was accepted, the event to bo held on Labour Day.
