Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, July 29. An old wood and iron building, in Glen road, Caversham, used as a fellmongery and mat factory, was burned down yesterday. It is assumed that it was set on fire by means of sparks from a boiler, communicated to scraps of wool lying about. The insurances on the building were £350, on the stock and plant £300, machinery and contents £150—all in tho Alliance Assurance. Dawson and McKeclmie's saAvmill at Ratanui was burned down on-Friday. It was uninsured, and the loss is estimated at £400. r , '_ TIMARU, July 29. Between seven and eight last night a house at St. Andrews, occupied by Constable Fitzgerald, was completely destroyed by fire. No one was at homo at the time.
