THE BUTTER BILL.
The Butter Bill was read a third time after Mr Lowe's amendment to limit the moisture in milk-blended butter to ■16 per cent, was defeated by 133 voter to 22. Several other amendments were also negatived. Air Burns promised that the 1' men- would insert a clause of- eigW words providing that wrappers tor milk blended butter should set out the per centage of moisture therein.
