INFECTION IN SCHOOLS.
INVERCARGILL, July 26. The Southland Education Board discussed the Health Department's scheme tor. the medical inspection of school children. The Board doubts whether the work could be effectually done by the teachers, and is arranging a conference with medical men to discuss the matter. The general opinion was that legislation would be necessary.
