TVTOTJCE is Hereby Given that, at a -*-* Special Meeting of the above Council hold on the 7th day of June, 1907, a resolution was passed making By-laws under " The Counties Act, | 1886," with respect to the Licensing of Vehicles plying for hire for the carriage of passengers" or goods within the County of Ashburton, and to prevent I Unlicensed Vehicles so plying ; and making other Regulations with respect to such Vehicles. The said Resolution will be* submitted for confirmation as a Special Order at a Meeting of the Council, to be held at the Council Chamber, Baring Square, Ashburton, on the 2nd day of AUGUST, 1907, at 11 a.m. A Copy of the proposed By-laws, which, if made, will take effect on a day to be hereafter notified, is deposited at the Council Offices, Baring Square, and will be open to the inspection of the public during office hours up to the 2nd day of AUGUST.
