Mr Carruthers, speaking at Kiaraa, said the primary products of the States last year reached the immense sum of £45,000,000, while the revenue to Wednesday last exceeded that for the corresponding period last year by £500,000. He might confidently anticipate a surplus on the financial year of £500,000.
