General Booth's Scheme.
United Press Association —By Eleotrio Telegraph—Copyright London, October 14 General Booth, when shown the question af.ked by Mr Higgin?, in the Federal Parliament of Australia, re the reported utterance of General Broth that Australia was hßinppred by the 'Labour Party, remarked : " There has been a misunderstanding. I did not make such a sweeping statement. I stated that Ecme time ago one btUtt in particular opposed me. I recently gave Mr Watson special credit for hi* attitude on the immigration question." General Booth, interviewed by the " Daily Chronicle," said : "We have not yet got ready an ambitious colonisation scheme. When more capital is available, colonisation will proceed. It is now a question of the emigration of people ready to so, but wo want reasonable assistance from Australia or the Home Government."
