T^XOURSION Tickets at fares of 2d J£!i per mile First-Class, Id per mile second, minimum 4s and 2s respectively, mileage counted one way only, will be issued to Ashburton from Christchurch, Timaru, Methven, Springburn, and intermediate stations, on the 14th September and morning trains on the 16th September, also from Christohurch, Dunsandel, Rakaia, and Cbertsey, for the 11.55 a.m. Express train on the 15th September, available for return till 16th September. On Thursday and Friday, 14th and 15th September, the 11.55 a.m. Express train from Christcburch will set down passengers at the Ashburton Saleyards Siding (for the Racecourse) if reqaired. The afternoon train from Ashburton to Timaru will start at 5.45 p.m. and leave Tinwald 5.54, Winslow 6.10, Hinds 6.31, Rangitata 7.14, and arrive Timaru 8.55. The afternoon train from Ashburton to Springburn will start at 6.0 p.m. and run 1 hour 35 minutes later than timetable times. 54. BY ORDER. ASHBURTON RACES. 14th and 15th SEPTEMBER, 1905. ON Thursday, 14th September, an Excursion Train will leave Chrisfechuroh for Aehburton at 10.0 a.*n.. Hornby 10.13, Rolleston 10.33, Dunsandel 10.54, Rakaia 11.18, Chertsey 11.29, Ashburton arrive 12 Noon. It will set down passengers at the Ashburton Saleyards (for the Racecourse) if required. A return train will leave Ashburton for Christchurch at 5.35 p.m., and arrive Christchurch 7.30 p.m. It will stop at the Askburton Saleyards to pick up passengers, and at Chertsey, Rakaia, Dunsandel, Rolleston, and Hornby to set down passengers.
