Sale of Cattle.

At a sale of a portion of the cattle on H D and J F Buchanan's Kinloch Estate, Little River, which estate was resumed by the Government for closer settlement purposes, the average prices were .—Fat steers, J>B 18s, forward heifers £5 5s 6d, three year old steers £f> 3s 6d, two year old ditto £3 ss, two year old heifers £3, yearlings £2 73 6d; the average for 738 head being £4 10s 6d.
