St. Petersburg, June 24 A general strike has occurred at Lodz, in Poland. Inns have been pillag9d, and people are in a state of panic. Traffic has been interrupted. Revolver firing is almost continuous in different quarters. Barricades were erected and 'he troops, in storming them, killed 50 of the defenders, and wounded 200. Martial law has b9eu declared, Details show that social democrats and Jewish lnnd-owners instigated the rioting, to avenge the deaths of fifty seven workmen, who were killed on Wednesday. Seveu Coasaeks and two officers were killed on Thursday. A girl of thirteen shot one soldier, and two bombs thrown at the barracks on Friday killed twenty soldiers. Workmen from the roofs poured vitriol on the soldiers, who fiercely volleyed on the crowd.
