The force of the explosion on* horsed two cuirassiers who were riding beside the carriage. The President and the King escaped scathless, bat v fragment of the bomb killed! the horse, and injured three policemen, at woman and a child, all of whom were conveyed to the hospital. The workman was arrested with two others, supposed to be his confederates in a plot against King Alfonsp,. Received June 2, 8.30 a.m. King Alfonso was, perfectly cooS, and smilingly fainted the cheering crowds. The bomb was thrown by a chemist's assistant named Armould, whom the crowd roughly treated. About twenty bystandera were injured.
