United Press Association—Electric Telegraph. Nawek, May 22 W. J. Gibbons, licensee of the Crown Hotel, was fined 40s and costs for pemitting gambling—to wit euchre for drinks—on his premises. The decision had been held over for some time pending the Christohurch appeal case. Blenheim, May 22 At the anniversary services in the local Wesleyan Church yesterday the collections realised £20G. An organ costing .£4OO has been presented to the Wesleyan Church by a member of the congregation.
