Westport Exhibition.

The Westport Mining and Industrial Exhibition, held in the Victoria Theatre, driUshed and Echool buildings, was opened by the Mayor, Mr Munro, last nighb, and was very largely attended. There wsb an excellent collection of mining exhibits, working models, art and trades displays, and visitors are agreeably surprised at the ecale and quality of the exhibition. In connection with it musical and elocutionary contests are being held nightly, and are well patronised. The exhibition will remain open till next Monday.
