There was a fair attendance at Mr Stephenson'a ordinary weekly sale of stock and produce on Saturday. The entry of cattle large and bidding brisk, while for pigs the sale was somewhat dragging. The following are prices : —Cuttle— £l, £4> 10?, £5, .£6, £7, £8. Calves—2s, 3s 6d. Pigs - 5s Gd, 6s, 7s, 8s 6d, 10s 6d, 12s 6d, 16s 6d ; sows and litters 31s 6d, 325, 355. Poultry— towls 2s 3d to 2s Gd per pair; geese ss, 5s 6d, 68 6d, 7s, 9s to 9s 6d per pair. Ducks—3 -, _s, to 4s 6d per pair. Produce-pcta-toe?, chick wheat, etc., sold at Lite rates.
