Kuropafckin reports that in an artillery duel he repulsed a Japanese attempt to outflank a portion of his left wing on the 25th. General Rennokampf and nine men were killed, and 57 wounded,

An Imperial rescript decorates Aiexieff, and commends his services as Commander-in-Ohief.
