Clearing Sale.
Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held a clearing sale at Korari farm, Winchester, on Thursday, on account of Messrs C. and W. Graham, who have sold the farm to Mr B. Brookland of Pareora. The stock was a superior lot, »ll well bred and in puma condition. The attendance was very large and every lot elicited keen competition as the following prices prove.-—Sheep—694 ewes and lambs at 14s 3d, fat ewea 243. Cattle—Steers, £7 12a 6d, fat cows £6 10s, milch cows £5 10s to £6 s=>, calves 31s. Horses -Draught mare Be 3?, syrs, £69; Bloss Gyr3, £64; Star, 4yrs, £59; Nell, 3yrs, £57 10s; Rose, 6yrs, £57 10s ; Gyp, 7yr?, £49; Jean aged, .£l7: Kate aged, .£4O 10s; gelding 3 £40 to £50; 2-"year-old fillies, £30 10s, £34; yearlings, £15 10sto£l7; light hor3eß, £14s to £19. Pigs: Berkshire boar, 74 guineas, sows, £6 53 down to .£2, stores 21s, slips 8s to 11s 6d. Implements:'—Drays £IG to £16 103, rollers £10 to £15, grubber £11 15?, discs £'J. D.F. plough £10. 3 F. plough £13, turnip ridger £15 10s-;, drill £17 lCs, mower £5, gig £10, and sundries at equilly high Drices.
