United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright Christchitbch, Feb. 25 Thefqurth and concluding wool salo of the season's series was held to day. There was a large attendance of Home and colonial buyers. Only a little over 2000 bales were offered, the wool being mostly ihe clearings up of the wool stores, with a tew late shorn station clips. The quality was not nearly so good as at previous sales, bufc there was good competition all through. Super merinos were i& to $d lower, while medium and inferior sorts were unchanged. Halfbreds were very firm and prices were m favour of sellers. Super crossbreds were easier by id per lb. Coarse crossbred Bold np to the level of previous sale. A good clearance affected and few lots were passed m at auction, praotically all being disposed of during the day. me range of prices were:—Super greasy merino 9d to 9M, medium 8d to BJd, inferior 6Jd to 75d; anper halfbred BJd to 9id, medium 73d to B*d, inferior 7d to 7£d; super crossbred 7id to 7;|d, medium Gjd'to 74d, inferior 4*d to 6d; lambs wool, 6|d to GJd ; merino pieces 6id to 7-Jd, halfbred pieoes -M to Md; crossbred pieces 3Jd to s*d; locks 2 5 d to 4fd; scoured merino 15* dto 18* d; pieces ■ 14W to. I7d ; locks 18fd ; to 15|d; scorned fealfbred J2d to IW.
