Mr H. Stephenson reports as follows on Saturday's market:—There was a good attendance of buyers, and a large yarding of pigs, which met with good competition. Prices: Weaners 7s to 13s, stores J4s, 16s, and 17s ; larger sorts up to 19a 6d; porkers, 23s to 31s 6d; fat pigs, £2 12a 6d. Id poultry, fowls brought Is 3d to 2s Bd, roosters up to 3s; geese, 5s 6d; ducks, 3s. Produce —Potatoos, 7s per sack; onions Hd. Plums, 4s 6d to 5s per case; apples, 2s 6d. Chick wheat, 10s, 12s, and 14s per sack, according to quality. I also held a large clearing sale of furniture, which was disposed of at satisfactory prices.-
