Britain's Unemployed.
London, February 20 In the House of Commons an interesting debate took place on the unemployed question, Mr Fenwick supporting the Eight Hon. W. Long's contention that the laofc of employment was exaggerated. Others declared that th.o solution was not m turn, ing the authorities into, amateur farmers. Mr Keir Hardies amendment to enable the authorities to employ unemployd on. land and also m industries was ultimately negatived by 201 to 161.
