Jameson's Entertainers.
To-Night Mr Will. Jameson will introduce hia company of entertainers to the theatre-going public of Ashburton, when there should be a packed house, to welcoing his enterprise. The company are all said to be first-Qlass artists, who have made their name m Australia, and through the Eastern Empire. Miss Ida Roslyn, Mr Jack Kearns, and Sherwin, the musical tramp, have toured India, China, and Japan, under the management of Mr Thos. Hudson, of Hudson's Surprise Party, and each of them with the members of the Company, have all played under Mr Harry Rickards' management. This combination has been specially selected bj* Mr "Will Jai&es6u for a New Zealand tour, and then through South Africa. Press reports speak m the highest praise of the Company's performances j and we have no doubt that it will meat with public approval. Miss Jean Johnston, m illustrated ballads, is said to possess a fine soprana voice, and her rendering of "Daddy," "The Better Land," "When a little while has flown," and " Killarney," always brings down the house.
