Boer Surrenderers.
United Press Association—Ky Electric Telegraph—Copy ri ghfc London, June 28 Comriiandants PouVs and Lategan's conimandofe, numbering 464, surrendered at Kenbart, while 23 other Boers surrendered at Kimberley. Brisbane June C 7 The city was en fete to-night-, oelwbratiug the conclusion of peace. Tremendous crowds thronged the streets, f>nd nil vehicular traffic was suspended, Tae Governor the Premier, and the Mayor delivered speeches from the balcony of the Treasury building. A procession consisting of a large number of troops and Friendly Bocieties, and a number of lorries carrying tableaux representing the King and Queen, and the signing of the peace treaty, marched through the principal streets. The chief buildings were splendidly illurniaated, and a fine display of fireworks was witnessed by 50,000 persons.
