HIGH SCHOOL MATCH.

The match, Tirnaru Boys' High School v Ohristchurch High School 11, was played at Ashburton on Saturday afternoon It was a beautiful day. but the ground way slightly heavy after the recent ruin. Timam kicked off. Patrick, for Ohrietohuroh, made some good rushes, bat the limaru backs grassed their men every time. The chief feature of this ■pell was the splendid full back pay of Viokermass, who did not misi the ball once, and relieved Timaru over and over again. Crawford, Qnnn, and Black made several good passing rushes, and at last Guan crossed the lin>v Agkin no goal wbb registered. No further bo >re resulted, and » hard fought R\me ended in a well deserved win for the southerners by 5 points to 0. The game was played in a fine spirit-, and it was a treat to watch.
