TEMUKA STOCK SALE.
The fortnightly sale was well attended ( n Tuesday. The entry comprised 6000 sheep, 100 head of cattle, and about the came number of pigs. The market wag contracted and nearly all the lines submitted were i-old to favour of vendors. All round sheep realised about Is per head advance on late rates, and for oabble there was keen erquiry, The following were the quotations realised:— Shsep—Fat ewes, 10s lOd, 12s 13s tn 13a lOd ; three quarter bred h ggets, 13b, 13s Id, to I3s 2d ; half bred ewes in iamb, 10s 9d to lie. CJattle—Fat cows, £6 10s to £712s 6d; steers, 18 months, £3 10s to £4 ; heifers, £2 10 to £214; dry cows, £4 Ig, £4 16b to £5; Bpringerß, £5, £6, to £6 15; cows in profi., £3 l§s, £4 to £5. Pigs—Stores, 10s 6^, 12s 13s 9d, 15a to 20s ; baeonere, 35s to 37s 6d.
