Steyn Urges Storming the Town
Reoei^ed Wakapuaka March 9, 9.55a.m This Office 10.5 a.m. London, March 8 The Mafeking garrison is despondent but determined to hold out, Steyn is urging Commandant Toyman to storm the town and then hasten to his assistants, as the Erge State is hard pressed. The garrison of Mafektng has been eating horseflesh and weevily biacnits. Since the beginning of the siege 290 have been killed and wounded and have died of disease.
