Inveecarghl, March 7 The following are the results of the cycling events decided at the Invercargill Cycling Club's Patriotic Meeting on Wednesday : — Half Mile Dash—A RUston, 15yds, 1; Chalmers, 15yd«, 2; Holland, 55yds, 3. G Sutherland, ecr, fouled Bennett in the first heat, and was not placed. Won by two feet. Time—l 6
Mile Maiden ~J Butler, 10yds, 1 ; A Cuff, 3yds, 2: H Siewa't. 10yds, 3. Won by a wheel. Time—2.46f.
Mile Handicap—R Murie, 130 yds, 1 ; G Sutherland, sor, 2;WJ Cowie, 175 yds, 3, Sutherland came fast. Ralston, 20yds, retired in the third lap. Won by a yard. Time—2.l3&.
Wheel Race, two miles—The first heat was won by Randrup HOyde. Sutherland and Chalmers scratch retired. Final heat— Randrup 1, Holland 2, Ball 3, Cushine 4. Won by a yard, in 4min 34sec.
Quarter Mile Flying Handicap—Final— Sutherland scratch 1, Chalmers scratch 2, Huston syds 3. Won by a yard in 33sec3,
Five Mile—Holland 285 yds 1, Randrup 18(3yda 2, Qbalmers 60yds 3. Three Mile Multicycle—Marie, Bisset and Ball (triplet) 1, McKeca'te and Randrup 150 yds 2, ■'• 1
