PALMERiTON NORTH, Matc'l 16 G'oriou3 v evher prevails for the opening | day of the iNew Zjaland polo tmrnament. Ten teams are competing, including the Rangibikei A and B teams, Orua, phristchurch, Manawatu, Tearai, Wei ing on, Hawkea' Bay (2), and Horcwhecua. The drawing for the Saville cup contests resulted ! m Rangitikei A team 1 p'ayiDg Orua, and Christchcrah meeting Manawatu to-day. To-morrow Rangitikei B team will play T«arai m the senior cup, and m the junior cup Wellington will play Horowheaua.
