Sydney, April 26 With reference to the Mudgee mystery, the detectives report that Reeves was suffering from severe debility and losj of eyesight, the result of excessive drinking. They believe he fell infa the fire and was burned to death. The blood stains are explained by bis having gashed his hand while quitting tobacco.
