A New Terror.
Hobart, October 27. An epidemic which is baffling the doctors has occurred at Avoca. A miner, by the name of French, brought his son to hospital, and while there the father was seized with a short but, severe illness, and died. The mother came to see her husband, and both she and her son died. French's brother attended the funerals, and, after a short and painful illnes, died too. A girl living m Avoca died m the same way, and the matron of the hospital was stricken, but is recovering.
