It was decided to hold a ball in the Town Hall in the evening, to have the Burnham baud and other amusements on the ground as usual. There were a number of subscriptions promised in the room, and from the interest taken there seems, in spite of bad times, every prospect of anofcher good day's amusement—given fine weather* Instructions were given to have the programme advertised, and posters got out as soon as possible.
