THE HON W. P. REEVES AT CHRISTCHURCH.
The Hon W. P. Reeves addressed a crowded meeting, numbering nearly three thousand, at Christchurch lasts night. The first part of his speech was devoted mainly to replying to criticisms cf recent Opposition speakers, whom he showed to have expressed most contradictory views regarding the Government policy »nd legislation. In the second part he explained the proposals for future legislation in the departments of Labor and Education. His reception was most cordial and applause was frequent during his speech.
