The Electoral Bill will be introduced in the first week of the session, and the Premier hopes that women will be enfranchised in tima to cusfc their votes a! the general election. This will be welcome news to Mrs Sheppard and those aiding her movement for this reform. One of the newly clothed Peers (probably the Hon W. Montgomery) will be sworn in as a member of the executive without portfolio in order to assist Sir Patrick Buckley with Government business in the Legislative Counoil. The vacancy on the Hansard staff is likely to be filled by the appointment of Mr Gore, private secretary to the Minister of Lands.
