Sydney, December 7. The inquiry held by the Marine Board into the conduct of the captain of the ship Port Glasgow has concluded, and the decision will be given on Friday. In his evidence the captain emphatically denied all the allegations of the crew.
THE ANGLO-AUSTRALIAN BANK.
Melbourne, December 7. In his evidence in the case against the directors of the Anglo-Australian Banking Company, the liquidator of the institution stated that Staples had received from the bank £23,000 more than he paid in.
