LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
WEDNESDAY, JULY 23.
AFTERNOON SITTING. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Attorney-General gave notice to introduce a Bill to amend the law of libel. The Hon. E. C. J. Stevens, m the absence of Mr Man tell, brought up the report of the Committee on the Dentists Bill, that the Bill be allowed to proceed. SUPPLY. The Imprest Supply Bill was received from the House, and read a first time, the second reading being fixed for next day. The Council, at 2.30 p.m., adjourned till the following day.
