THE MELBOURNE HOSPITAL.
In giving evidenc before the Charities Commission three doctors stated that the Melbourne Hospital was a hot-bed of disease, and asserted that five house surgeons had died from phthisis, contracted in consequence of the insanitary state of the hospital.
