London, June, 2 and 3. ,'"■ In the first innings of the Australians v the M.CC. Gregory was not out 23. Barnes took two wickets for 32, Martin four for 54, Flowers one for 15, and Shacklock two for 17. The M.C.O. at the close of the day's play had lost six wickets for 160. Stoddart 46, Gunn 31, Marchant24, Flowers 24. Eight thousand people were present. Blackham, who has been suffering from a blow on the chesb, is better, and will probably play against Cambridge University. The fielding and bowling of the Australians in the Marylebone match were. excellent.
(Received June 4, 12.15 p.m.) London, June 3. The first innings of the Marylebone Eleven closed for 194. Shuter scored 17, and Shacklock 11. In their second innings the Australians have lost five wickets for 105 runs, the principal scorers being Trott 33, Murdoch 30, Lyons 15, Gregory 12, and Barrett 9. ; I4.TER. Marylebone won the cricket match,by seven wickets. . "
