Horse Market.

Mr T. Bullock reports for the week ending Saturday, May 10th :— There was a large entry of horses, fifty.* 'pne being offer-ed at the day's sale, arid although biddings were rather slow for the inferior sorts, a very large proportion of the entry changed hands, viz., twentysix. This may be considered very, satisfactory, considering the large, number- pf horses that have been sold lately at country clearing sales and other special sales. It should be mentioned that it was principally the better class of horses offered that were sold, as usual it* was very difficult indeed to obtain bids for inferior sorts.

i Qup of the day's entry of fifty-one 'the prices realised for, the twenty-six sold were as follows :—Four year old draughts, of a good stamp, £17 up to £23 10s ; five year old, £17 ; ditto, of rather a lighter description, £13 10s ;. six year old, £16; seven year old, £13 5s ; aged, £7 15s, £8 ss; inferior, £3. A much larger number than usual of light harness horses and hacks changed hands A three year old fifty, unbroken, of a good stamp, by Tarn O'Shanter, brought £14; two yearling fillies, £13; a three year old, of a light description, unbroken ; £9 17s ; a four year old, jusfc broken in, suitable for a carrier's cart, £1110s ; light harness horses, two year olds, unbroken, £6 Jss.,' £7 ; three year olds ditto, £6 15s, £9; broken to harness., £p, £5 15s, inferior, £3 ss; .hacks, £3 2s 6cl, £3 ss, £5 10s, £6, £6 2s 6d.
