(Received May. 12, 0.45 a.m.) , • London, May 10. Tallow—Medium mutton, 24s ; medium beef, 23s 6d. The English wheat market is active. Prices quoted are steady. The Continental market is firm, and the American declining. Adelaide wheat is quoted at 39s 6d, and Victorian at 38s 6d. New Zealand longberried, 37s 9d, firm. W001—305,000 bales were catalogued for the series just finished, of which 1100,000 bales were held over, besides this exported. The Kaikoura arrived at Rio de Janiero yesterday, and reports passengers all well i and meat in good condition. , *,
