Shbep.— About 4000 fat sheep were yarded. The sale waa firm at prto.es equal to reoant salee« Best quality wether multoD realised fully 2£l, while small and ewe muttou brought l£d to l|i per lb. 1 splendid Hue of prime Lino jia wethers lold by Mr Tabart realised up to 18j, whioh topped the mat kit. Store sheep were not a large entry, but lines sold froely »t f»lr rates. Merino wethurs futobed in small lots up to 4s Si to 4 1 81. Orossbrod ewes, mixed ageu, In lamb, sold •t 84 3d to 9s lOd ; a line of half-bred ewes In lemb at 83 91 to 10a 3d ; two, four and six tooth crossbred wethora 10d 3d, ditto ewes 8, 6.
Oattlh — A krge entry o! beef, but nothing of extra s!z) or quality, and sale fras'BOmowbkt dull lu oonstquenae. The highest prioe realised was for a small line of steers at £7 ss. Beef sold from 15s to 17a per 1001b, tb< ugh iu one or two Instanoes where speolal quality was cfihrud a tcifl) more was obtained. The store cattle sale was sparingly supplied, and nothing was up to averago quality. A line uf very ooarau two year old heifers sold at 35 j ; some three yea* old steers brought up to £3 lOe 5 yoarlinca source, those sold bring ng from 16 j to 25a. Oows dull of sale.
Pigs. — The entry waß the largest that has been in the yards during the past month, and s>rne remarkably prime bacooer-B wero Bubaiitted ; these realised over 4d. Porkers Bold freely at 4Jd to 5Jd.
