Mr Levien, solicitor, has been suspended for twelve months for contravening "The Attorney's Act" by allowing bis managing clerk to receive a percentage of profit. He has consequently resigned his seat for Tarawortb.

Trade has virtually ceased at Oporto In consequence of the strike in the wine trade.
