1 London, November 21. The last victim of attempted murder is still living, her wounds not being so serious as at first supposed. She has made a statement to the effect that she was drinking m the evening with % man whom she met, and who mbsajwently accompanied her to her lodgings. The fellow suddenly turned on and attacked her, but she straggled violently and screamed^ and the murderer beoomin^ alarmed desisted. Hef Bucqee^ m making his escape $Q,qA, though pursued for 300 yds. The woman has furnished an accurate description of her assailant, and his arreit is expected hourly. He is not believed to have any connection with (he previous murders.
