Mr W. H. Smith, m reply to a question m the House of Commons, stated it is not the intention of Government to introduce an Irish Local Government Bill this session. Government would be prepared to submit suchr a bill for the consideration of Parliament when the Irish people were ready to exhibit loyalty to the crown and constitution.
